Using this website
By using this website you agree to these terms. The site is provided to give information about WoKeYaVÅ and our software development services.
No contract from browsing
Information on this site is general and does not form an offer. Any project work is governed by a separate written agreement or proposal agreed between you and WoKeYaVÅ.
Ownership of work we deliver
Who owns the software we produce depends on the type of project, and is confirmed in your written agreement:
- Websites built for a client: the website belongs to the client. Whether the client also owns the source code depends on the agreement for that project.
- Development contracts: ownership of the code is transferred to the client at the end of the contract.
- Systems built and owned by WoKeYaVÅ: clients rent the right to use the system. The system and its code belong to WoKeYaVÅ only, and no ownership is transferred. The client's own data remains the client's.
Where a written agreement says something different, the agreement applies.
Pricing and currency
Prices are quoted in Malawi Kwacha (MWK) for clients in Malawi and in US dollars (USD) for clients outside Malawi. The currency, price and payment schedule for your project are confirmed in your proposal.
Intellectual property
The WoKeYaVÅ name, logo and site content belong to WoKeYaVÅ unless stated otherwise. Third-party images are used under the Unsplash licence.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site, including attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, or send spam through the contact form.
Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available but cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of this website.
